ALAN CASE
Chief Innovation Officer and Co-Founder
Alan , invented HushFrame eight years ago in his garage as a solution to the noise transmission problems in a micro-housing concept he was developing. Since then, Alan secured a patent for HushFrame in 2017, continued to refine prototypes for the product, successfully fire and sound tested the technology, built out our Weymouth factory and innovated manufacturing processes, equipment and protocols before bringing the product to market. Throughout his diverse career in orthotics and prosthetics and then in construction and real estate development, Alan has consistently found elegant solutions to mechanical problems whether freeing a patient from a polio rocking bed by equipping him with a custom device or designing an award-winning condo complex on the side of a huge granite outcropping. When Alan is not toiling behind the scenes to keep the wheels of HushFrame turning, he enjoys cooking gourmet meals for family and friends.
MICAH LOGAN
Chief Executive Officer
Micah is a successful, serial entrepreneur with a passion for systems. He began his career in the fitness and wellness industry as a Personal Trainer and attended Fisher College in Boston, MA. Over the last 17 years he personally worked with hundreds of clients, but as a businessman he has built one of Boston’s most reputable fitness and wellness companies, Next Level Fitness & Wellness—a fitness studio concept with multiple locations in greater Boston. Micah is embarking on an initiative to franchise his studio concept in late 2020 - early 2021. Micah has built an excellent reputation as a trusted business owner, entrepreneur and small business consultant as reflected in his companies receiving multiple awards such as Boston’s A-List, Best of Thumbtack and #1 rated fitness company in MA by top rated Local 2019. Micah is also a small business consultant with experience in systems building, business turn around, strategic planning and operational management and he regularly shares his insight in his Podcast The Common Cents Show at www.thecommoncentspodcast.com
SUZANNE SOBOL CASE
Chief Operations Officer and Co-Founder
Suzanne retired in 2019 from State Street Bank where she worked for 29 years—most recently as Senior Vice President and Global Head of Operational Risk, reporting to the Chief Risk Officer. She is now focused on HushFrame and board work. Over her career in banking, Suzanne managed sensitive global payment and custody operations, developed high performing teams and worked as an activist mentor with an intentional focus on women and people of color. Suzanne was a fierce ally and advocate decades before those activities were well understood or valued. In her TED Talk, which you can view here, she pointed out the group-think and stunning lack of empathy at the roots of the 2008 financial crisis—and of the power of literature as empathy-enhancer. She has extensive experience in treasury management, technology implementation, business optimization, business continuity, information security, compliance and risk management. She has also served as a valuable member of several boards and advisory groups. Suzanne is a majority owner of HushFrame and designation as a WBE woman-owned business is in process. She is a life-long reader and learner with a passion for the written word.
